E. coli strain ER2566
ER2566 is provided as a host strain for the expression of a target gene cloned into the IMPACT vectors. ER2566 carries a chromosomal copy of the T7 RNA polymerase gene inserted into the lacZ gene, and thus is under the control of the lac promoter. The strain is deficient in both lon and ompT proteases.
