The pKFEFQ-PA-mCherry1 plasmid was constructed by inserting the same fragment into the NheI and BamHI sites of the pPA-mCherry1-N1 vector25. To establish stable cell lines expressing the CMA reporter, pKFERQ-PS-CFP2-N1 or pPS-CFP2-N1 plasmids were transfected into NIH3T3 cells using lipofectamine2000 and selected with neomycin.
