gene. Vector parent is pKNOCK-bla-ermGb and is selectable on ampicillin in E. coli and erythromycin in Bacteroides spp. A genomic fragment containing
the B. thetaiotaomicron VPI-5482 tdk gene (BT2275) was inserted into pKNOCK-bla-ermGb via engineered KpnI and SalI ends and is expressed under
its native promoter region (500bp of sequence upstream of BT2275 start codon were included).
